HOW DO YOU TAKE YOUR COFFEE?

Black, no sugar, no creme, or when I'm feeling indulgent, iced latte with almond milk.

BIKE, WALK, TRAIN, OR DRIVE?

Drive. My partner and I have a car that we've nicknamed "Jesse" and there's nothing better than driving us LSD blasting B96.

FAVORITE CHICAGO HANGOUT?

Scofflaw, for the great cocktails and the milk and cookies at midnight.

WHAT'S YOUR IDEAL ROAD TRIP?

Cross country! I've done Chicago to Philadelphia and back 5 times now! Chicago to New York City is also top notch.

WHAT DRIVES YOU?

Telling the stories of those whose voices we don't often get to hear, what happens when I bring people together, the moment when an audience is collectively dazzled all at once.

WHY CHICAGO?

The people and the culture lack a certain pretention that exists in other major cities. It's also so much more affordable but never stops being diverse, vibrant, full of live; I love just walking the streets and seeing what I discover.

CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT…

My notebook and by stack of books beside my bed.

MORNING ROUTINE? ( IN 3’S) WAKE UP, BRUSH TEETH, EAT BREAKFAST?

Check email. Meditate. Make coffee and avocado toast for my partner and myself.

DEFINE YOUR STYLE.

Jack Sparrow meets Lena Dunham meets Scarlett O'Hara.

I JAM OUT TO...

Pop music, like top 40, constantly.

WHAT WOULD YOUR PUNK BAND NAME BE?

Hey, that's my motorcycle.

RANDOM FACT?

I grew up with my grandmother who was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, and stowed away on a boat to England when she was 15.
