Do you have hobbies or special talents?
My three main hobbies are baking (I make a mean cookie), hitting the gym (to make up for said cookies), and drawing.
What drives you?
A thirst for knowledge. Doesn’t matter what the subject matter is, I just want to learn daily.
How do you define your style?
Being a designer, I’m exposed to so many different styles it’s difficult to narrow it down to one - some days I like it clean and simple, sometimes edgy, sometimes super soft and feminine.
Do you work from home, and if so, what space do you use as a makeshift office?
I work from everywhere! I do have a dedicated office but my IKEA island makes a great work station too.
What's your ideal road trip?
I once took a dirt bike ride through the countryside of Belize, that was pretty ideal.
Which past era intrigues you the most and why?
The prohibition era for sure, I mean, have you seen “Peaky Blinders”?
What movie prop do you wish you owned?
The Bride’s Hattori Hanzo sword.
I jam out to ...
Pretty much anything but right now a lot of Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats
On Friday nights you can find me...
Playing a game of shuffleboard
Can’t live without...
Lists! I love making a good list.
If you had a band, what would the name be? What genre?
Little Fiesties - a little bluesy, a little rock, but fun to dance to.
Do you read the book first or wait for the movie to come out?
Book first, for sure.
As someone who’s traveled quite a bit, it’s still my favorite city I’ve been to.
Do you have a four-legged roommate? Tell us about him/her.
Frank is a four-year-old Miniature Pinscher. Completely full of sass with strangers but a real lover deep down.
In your apartment: What are your favorite furnishings or art pieces? Do you know where you got them and/or who designed or created them?
I have a 4’ tall abstract portrait of myself and Frank that was commissioned as a gift. It’s really excessive but awesome. It was done by Roger Harris who’s based out of Bloomington, IL.
