Quan is a Fitness Coach who offers classes for FLATS® residents at The Bush Temple and The Ardus gyms as well as taking private clients.

How would you compare the FLATS® gym and community to other gyms that you've trained at?

I love the integration between my private clients and residents. It creates a fun and unique place where people can connect, hold each other accountable, and get fit together!

What inspired you to become a personal trainer?

I knew I wanted to be a Personal Trainer when I saw what working out did for my self esteem. When I was a sophomore in college I went through a serious depression and was even kicked out of school for a bit and Fitness truly saved my life. I wanted to help people the way Fitness helped me.

What are your words of advice for someone who wants to set personal fitness goals but is unsure of where to begin?

Just get started. Honestly, the more you do the better results you'll get!

How do you craft the perfect workout playlist?

You can never go wrong with mid 2000s hip hop so Lil Jon, Usher, etc! I like to mix up beat and sensual music to take my class goers on a ride during class.

What's next for you? What areas are you most excited to grow into for your business?

I'd like to continue to scale my training business through adding more classes and online training. But my ultimate end game is to travel the world empowering others through fitness. Also save to put myself through Law School.
