Do you have Hobbies or Special Talents?

Sometimes I take part in theatrical productions. I also think I can walk pretty well in heels?

What do you do for a living?

I am a Media Associate at a PR agency

Morning routine in 3's? (e.g., wake up, brush teeth, eat breakfast)

Turn off my 13 alarms, stumble to bus, pour coffee down my throat

Do you own an alarm clock or use the clock on your phone?

Does anyone own an alarm clock anymore? I have 13 alarms set automatically on my phone that ring every day of the work week.

How do you take your coffee?

Black.

Are you an Introvert or an Extrovert?

I would say that I am extroverted but I'm not fully convinced that one person could be exclusively one or the other all the time. But I do love people and I go a bit crazy if I am alone for too long or around the same people all of the time.

If I am not at home, you can find me ...

At work. Or dancing the night away at Berlin (depending on the day of the week)

If you had a band, what would the name be? What genre?

We've actually discussed this at work and I would be in an emo band called The Black Plants.

What is your favorite festival in Chicago?

I went to the Renegade Craft Fair for the first time this year and absolutely loved it! Nothing gets me going more than assorted, hand-made tchotchkies

Do you regularly check the weather or do you wing it?

I definitely wing it. I'm known for never having an umbrella and coming into work soaking wet. Life's more fun when you're spontaneous!

Are you super organized or do you find comfort in chaos?

I can be both and neither at the same time. There will be days where I just let me clothes pile up on the floor until I absolutely can't stand it and deep clean my place until the cycle repeats itself. Definitely a day by day sort of thing.

Do you read the book first or wait for the movie to come out?

Depends on the movie. I made a point to read both Gone Girl and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo before seeing either movies and was very happy with my decision. I definitely love my crime thrillers- it's the 60 year old woman in me!

Why Chicago?

I grew up in Chicago and even though I don't have plans to stay here forever, Chicago is a city unlike any other in the US. The lake really can't be beat.

Do you have a four-legged roommate? Tell us about him/her.

I don't! But I do have conjugal visits with my cat, Pickle, who is living with her moms in a different apartment.

In your apartment: What are your favorite furnishings or art pieces? Do you know where you got them and/or who designed or created them?

I recently bought a blown glass head from Ross that I thought was super unique and one of a kind. It says it was made in Spain and I was excited because she had crossed oceans to be put up in my room. So it was a huge slap in the face when I was visiting a Ross store in LA two weeks ago (I am a dedicated Ross customer) and found THE SAME exact glass blown head on the shelves! I honestly was shocked but made my friends purchase it so that helped a little bit. I also have the bottom half of a mannequin that I bought at the Sears that closed down on Lawrence and spray painted it gold. Best furniture piece ever!
