Bike! although I do drive to & from work [wish I didn’t have to]

Favorite Northside hangout?

Big Chicks – I discovered this gem when I moved in a block away three years ago from DC. I instantly fell in love and started spending 4/7 nights a week there. My patronage has not slowed down since my move two blocks north.

What drives you?

Human interaction. It’s a big reason why teaching has been my career and passion – I get to work with people every day – shaping the life experiences of young people, and working along side a community of people who share that same passion.

Can’t live without…

My backpack. In the summer months it holds my hammock, speakers and paddle ball for more than likely trips to the beach. In the winter it holds my mittens.

Morning routine? ( in 3’s) Wake up, Brush teeth, eat breakfast

This little blue gargoyle thing. I can’t even remember where I got it [I’ve been known to trade them with friends], but it’s the perfect little splash of color wherever he lands in my space.

Well I just made a pistachio crusted chicken din and found myself proudly wishing I could share my masterpiece, but I can’t take full credit… I recently reactivated my Hello Fresh account. It’s easy to feel like a chef when the ingredients are perfectly portioned in each box. I’m learning that the art is really in the food shopping – which I haven’t quite mastered yet.
