HOBBIES OR SPECIAL TALENTS?

I'm a social media specialist for a restaurant management group in Chicago called Bottleneck Management.

HOBBIES OR SPECIAL TALENTS?

I'm a singer/songwriter and do stand-up comedy.

Morning Routine?

Wake up, open Spotify, brush teeth, shower, dance and sing in the shower, grab coffee downstairs, and head to work!

Do you own an alarm clock or use the clock on your phone?

I am a faithful slave to my iPhone.

How do you take your coffee?

Black with a packet of Splenda and a light dash of cream.

Are you an Introvert or Extrovert?

I'm an outgoing introvert.

If I am not at home, you can find me ...

In the recording studio, biking the Lakefront trail, at Volumes Book Cafe in Wicker Park, or learning how to be a funny person at Second City.

If you had a band, what would the name be? What genre?

I think if I were to have a stage name, it would be Eardly. It was my grandfather's name. He really fostered my love for music from a very young age. Growing up he would cut my sister and me fresh coconuts in [my grandparents] backyard and would blast classical music (Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Chopin). I think it would be cool to honor him in that way.

What is your favorite festival in Chicago?

Renegade Craft Fair. Hands down.

Do you regularly check the weather or do you wing it?

50/50.

Are you super organized or do you find comfort in chaos?

I fit somewhere in the middle.

Do you read the book first or wait for the movie to come out?

I always read the book first.

Why Chicago?

Ending up in Chicago was completely serendipitous. I did my undergrad in Michigan and would frequently visit on the weekends. The summer I graduated college I landed an internship downtown with the Museum of Contemporary Art. I accepted and decided to Uptown for the summer. I fell madly in love with this city and the rest is history.

Do you have a four-legged roommate? Tell us about him/her.

Yes. His name is Eugene and he's hands down the best male influence in my life.
