Alisa Anton is a photographer and digital marketer from Romania who spent time exploring the FLATS buildings during her time in Chicago through the Architecture Foundation's Open House Chicago event. We caught up with her at The Ardus
in November to enjoy the rooftop and explore the model studio and 1-bedroom apartments.
What drives you?
A persistent inclination to share my perspective which inherently builds up a desire to create.
What hashtag do you frequently use?
How do you define your style?
I've realized over time my style rotates based on seasons. I'm all about feminine dresses in the spring and summertime, but come fall and winter, you'll 100% find me in a basic t-shirt, jeans and a blazer. FYI, I'm obsessed with blazers.
Do you work from home, and if so, what space do you use as a makeshift office?
Yes, I work from home and I've set up my tiny Ikea desk in our living room.
What's your ideal road trip?
Exploring Tuscany and South of Italy in a classic Fiat 500.
Which past era intrigues you the most and why?
In college, I fell in love with Victorian literature, so I'd love to go back and hang out with Jane Eyre and Oscar Wilde :)
What movie prop do you wish you owned?
Is the hotel from "The Grand Budapest Hotel" too much to ask?
I jam out to...
Mumford & Sons and Post Malone.
On Friday nights you can find me...
Probably eating pizza and watching a movie.
Can't live without...
It may sound cheesy, but my husband. Definitely.
